    Blackline Rear Light Cluster

Today my Blackline rear lights came in so I installed them. Turned out to be a very simple job, took me 45mins in all and most of that time was spent aligning the light units with each other (the small unit on the boot lid and the main unit on the body).

I'd highly recommend them, it makes the car look a lot smarter

    Headlight Units with Angel Eyes

I have been looking to change my headlights so that they have projector beams with angel eyes. Twice I ordered a set manufactured by a lighting company called 'Ultra' and both times the store called me to say that the price had increased by £150 making a total of £350 excluding fitting!

If anyone knows a place where I can get them cheaper (apart from ebay) please do let me know.

    [B]Headlight Bulbs[/B

In the meantime, I also purchased a set of Xenon filled bulbs - also made by Ultra. I have to say that they're excellent bulbs and they look almost like HIDs - and they only cost £20!

However, changing my bulbs to these took me the best part of 3 hours. I don't know how I managed to change them but I have but I wouldn't be able to do it again. If anyone has some sort of write up etc that'd be great!

BMW have made accessibility extremely difficult and use a stupid clip system to secure the bulb.

Good to hear you got your darklines sorted...post up a couple of pics . Do you have access to the headlight bulbs from the wheel arch or from behind the lamp units?

I've let my insurance company know but premium stayed the same. Carbon mods put the premium up though
