    hi to all the problem is boot lock is not lock/unlock even though the central locking system does work ive sorted out the gremlins in the boot wiring loom but it still does not work..also where is the radio booster in a e36 coupe many thanks gringo300....

    Hi

    Are you sure you have not "deadlocked" it. If you lock it and unlock it by physically using the key, it will be out of synch with the central locking.

    I believe you can physically unlock the boot with your key when all your other doors are open and then try locking the whole car with your remote.

    as for the radio booster i assume you mean the aerial it is located try this link

    right due to further investigation it is the boot lock motor has jammed..... im sorry for the mis thread still a newbee and very much yes im in gresley area of (swadlincote) cheers
