    Hope that helps,
So would this be a handy bit of kit to get for future use for fault codes, service reset, activation and deactivation of software stored on the ECU and what software would I need to support this.
I'm sure if you ask the seller sw will be included in the package, his add reads...

"Along with the cable you will receive step by step instructions to aid you in the installationand should you need it we also offer email support."

Yep, that'll do nicely. You will be able to do diagnostics with either INPA or DIS, and coding with NCS or SSS - i wouldn't flash program with it though.

Let's hope this guys a good seller with good support. It's only really the interface that he needs - if he gets stuck, he'll get plenty of help on here...

Ye I had another read and soft ware is there. Just picked the car up on Tuesday and very pleased with it as everything is working now including auxiliary heater which starts up soon as engine is cranked up. also with timer settings on the computer. Fitted Dog Guard tonight so ready to go. All the help on here has been very much appreciated since I joined up so keeping fingers crossed and hope this one is as reliable as my 320d M Sport was.
