i have a big problem i was see if my car goes up to temp okay earlier and it does rise to 12 oclock so i thought lovely turned off engine

went into my house got some spanners and sockets to take headlights out and put some cd's in 6 cd changer

turned ignition on and started car i had no stereo and no brake lights and no left stalk they only function i got is OBC thats it no indicators or main beam

i read up about this and disconnected my battery for 2 hours and allowed everything to reset itself

i have just put battery back on and i have the stereo again but no back lights or left stalk functions

the only other thing i can think of that i can do is check all the fuses are working

someone said on e46 fanatics that it could be the K-BUS if this is the case what do i do ?

Probably not the k bus as the left stick switch assembly only connects to the light switch centre (light control module). I have seen a problem on the switch on our car. I had no RH indicators. I replaced the switch. Problem solved. If you are careful the switch can be dismantled and cleaned, but this is very tricky.
