my neighbor has a problem will run for about 10 to 15 minutes and then cut out and not re-start for several hours(but engine turns over), when it cuts the main fuel injection relay turns off, a diagnostic check shows no faults in the engine management but I know that the drivers door lock motor is faulty and is disconnected , could this be upsetting the EWS2 system or is the fault likely to be more sinister, hpoe someone can help as this has been doing my head for a couple of weeks.
    cheers steve

Have you checked that fuel is still getting into the cylinders? Do you have pulse at the injectors?

When it dies, does it just turn off, asif you took key out? Or does it stutter and die like running out of fuel?
    Any immob on the car?
    Maybe the fuel pump relay.
