    Hi all,
    Ive got a problem with the car, the battery keeps draining itself, I replaced tge battery last year with an expensive Bosch one now that has shut itself, I have now replaced with a spare I had in the shed itasted an hour of sitting on the drive vedire it went dead again? What's up with it?

    You could have an alternator fault, could be worth getting it checked.

    Could well be related to damaged wiring loom where it goes into the boot, as this appears to be quite a common fault on the E36.
    I had the same thing happening with my old E36 loon, and it turned out to be due to the boot light staying on.
    I lazily fixed it by simply removing the bulb but never fixed it properly.
