    Hi,

If this seems a noob question I apologise now Had to call out the breakdown service last night as the battery gave up the fight had no prior problems but I did notice that the air bag warning light came on and stays on.

Are there any problems when changing the battery? are there any electronic devices which need special tools to reset?? If so I guess I need to book into a BMW garage to get them to change it! Any recommendations on a replacement battery?

    Thanks,

just make sure you get an equivalent battery. BMW charge a lot for new batteries, they recode them in etc.

i had a problem with a couple of lights when my battery died,

if i rememeber correctly, there was a blown fuse in the fuse board that i changed

i disconected and reconnected the battery and the lights went
