    Hi had a problem recently with the battery draining over night.

    Had alternator and new batter fitted as per advice and hasn't resolved the issue.
    I now have a diagnostics report which may or may not help but here are the codes :-

    BMW Scanner v1.4.0.7

    DME ->

    7B/71 - Signal, characteristic map cooling, short circuit to positive

    25/61 - Main relay, reaction delay, not switched or switched with delay

    ZKE ->

    94/21 - DWA-LED: open circuit or cable DWAL, KL30

    or

    On another machine :-

    DTC

    123 Activation, Map cooling short circuit to positive (p1620)

    37 Main Relay: Switching delay [Main relay does not switch/Delayed]

    This is driving me crazy as I now have to jump start the car every morning

    Any advice on what the codes mean and are they related to my problem, some help would be appreciated.

    Cant help with the codes as its a Peake code reader i got mate.

    Is the car always locked? The climate control stays on the whole time the doors arent locked and stays on for 16 minutes once they are locked.

    Just a stab in the dark mate

    Sometimes the car is left open but not for any lengthy period and its a recent issue with no real change to how I use the car but suggestions are the way forward, thanks....
