    hmmmm neva thought of checking there,iv had the alarm box out before but dint see out but then again i wasnt really looking for it,one will be selling on ebay for £30 or summat daft haha

    Unfortunately the alarm siren is cunningly hidden behind the nearside front wheelarch liner so unless you fancy removing a large lump of years old plastic that is likely to break at the first opportunity access to it is not really an option!

    This is a bit of a mystery to me as not all cars seem to do this-mine doesn't have any problem although I have heard of plenty of times from people who have the same trouble as you.

    I'll have a look on the other specialist 7 forum I'm on and see if I can get any pointers.
