    i have the airbag light on my bmw 318 (wouldnt be too bothered but car due MOT), is this a common fault, if so how do i get it off??

    Common problem is usually the occupancy sensor on the passenger seat, there's a way to get around it by buying a bypass sensor from eBay, they are about a tenner and plug in under the seat, this will keep the passenger airbag on

    Very common and most likely your front passenger seat occupancy mat.
    Only way to be sure is get yourself diagnostics.
