I've suddenly got an Airbag light. I was cutting away carpet under the ashtray but I've nicked a wire in there. When I rejoin the cable, will it reset itself or will it stay on because it has been triggered and will only go off once reset with a tool ?

    Regards

It'll need to be reset, same with pretty much everything on the airbags, one problem is a permanent light.

Feel free to start your own thread, but I don't think it would be linked.
Maybe some damp has got into a head airbag but I don't think you'll have one. The usual cause is from moving a seat and a wire makes an intermittent contact,
