COULD IT BE THE ELECTRIC WINDOW CONTROL UNIT????? IF SO CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHERE IT IS AS I CAN'T FIND THE STUPID THING!!!!! OR ANY IDEADS WHAT ELSE IT COULD BE AS I HAVE ALSO CHECKED THE FUSE SWITCHES AND WIRING...... I HAVE ALSO LOST THE ONE TOUCH WINDOW OPEN OPERATION .

Does the window still drop 5mm when you open or close the door?

Have you disconnected the door for any reason or has the battery died whilst the window has been down???

Try winding the window all the way down and then hold switch for 30 seconds and try again. If that doesn't work then wind the window all the way up and hold for 30 seconds. You should hear a click and your one touch should be reactivated.

Yes, when you open and close the door.

    Nope.

Try winding the window all the way down and then hold switch for 30 seconds and try again. If that doesn't work then wind the window all the way up and hold for 30 seconds. You should hear a click and your one touch should be reactivated.

Tried that on both windows, up and down, no improvement, nothing at all.

Still only working if you repeatedly press the window control buttons, up or down.

I've seen this on another thread and it turned out to be the motor that's attatched to the winding mechanism.

If Ronnie doesn't manage to find it this evening then i'll have a browse tomorrow for you...

    Early night for me tonight

When I shut my computer down I don't log off so that I don't have to put my details in each time. Does that mean that I still appear online?

Early nite... ... YES. Going to bed to sleep???
