    Guys,

It's that time for me to renew the insurance.
One question on one of the web site asked what was
'What type of BMW Alarm has been fitted'.
With a drop down list as long as my arm?

Any ideas? I just though it would be a simple manufacturers fit.
BTW Cheapest so far is Privilege £595.00 (Full no claims, no convictions, 45 years, park in drive, protected no claims etc)
Tried Heritage, Footman James, Richard & Jowell, Greenlight (£859.00) as well as the price comparison sites. With Adrian Flux at present and renewal is £635.00! And that's all with £350 excess.

    Thanks chaps

You need to haggle with Adrian Flux - Mine is £252 for a '99 840ci (although I am 10 years older than you) with Adrian Flux. The Alarm/Immobiliser is specified as 'unknown combined immobiliser/alarm'

Mark are you kidding me, those premiums are astronimical. For alarm I just put "Manufacturers Fitted"

    Guys,

I know what did I do in my previous life!!!

I have trawelled around and the best I got from Adrian Flux is £540.00.
3,000 limited miles, Legal cover, no C.car, No Breakdown. (got that elsewhere)

Joys of living London I guess.
    Thanks chaps
