    Hey, i have recently had the drivers side roof airbag go off and wondered if any one could shed any light on how to replace it and what tools i might need. any help would be much apriciated. Thanks

    Couple of questions first...
    Are you talking about the A pillar air bag?
    Did the kill switch activate?

    im talking about the airbag that runs throught the head lining from the corner of the dash to the back of the head lining. Im not sure what you mean by the kill switch??

    Ok, that's the A-pillar bag I'm talking about. As for the kill switch, did your car start afterwards?

    Ok, on the side where it says 'AIRBAG', this is just a plastic plate covering two torx screws. So prise it open, remove the torx screws, and then remove the A-pillar cover. Underneath, you will see two more screws holding the air bag can. Remove, and fit new one. I think you will need to get the air bag codes read as well, just to make sure BTW, how or why did the airbag deploy?

    thanks. i had a bit of sideways action that went wrong, now ive also got a dent on the rear quarter and a bent hub which also needs replacing. refering back to the airbag, i have already go that cover and it looks like the can in in behind the dash, but im not sure???

    Just realised you have a coupe ...this is what it should look like...no.1 is the airbag.

    yeah nice one. dont surpose you know how to get the can out from behind dash, weither u need to take dash out of what needs to be removed to get to it?

    Airbag can for a coupe runs along the roof lining as shown...what else are you talking about?
