friend of a friend has a 320 convertable, and the hood will not work, will work if power is put direct to the motors, but when the switch is pressed it just clicks, my first thought is the module, but just wondered if anyone else had had this and knew right away what it could be and ill pass the info on

Need more info. What yr, and E type is the car? Is the top fully or semi automatic? Does the red LED next to the switch do anything?

It could be the switch that tells the hood module the hood cover is down, I would be checking this out
