Hi, just got a bmw e36 coupe. Only thing thats wrong is the brake lights are not working. Bulbs are fine. Could it be the switch in the pedal?

    Help appreciated

It could well be the switch

Checked all the fuses with a test light???

How have you checked the bulbs out of interest?

If you suspect the brake pedal switch then remove the plug and bridge the wires(ignition on) with a split pin or similar, If the brake lights illuminate then you know you have a problem with the switch, and you can look here for a DIY http://www.pelicanparts.com/bmw/tech...ake_Switch.htm
