Twice now on my 2009 320i coupe I have locked my car & when I returned to the car my drivers window was fully open. Is this a known fault???

Not a common problem as far as I know. Your windows are controlled by the footwell module so might need to have it investigated. Got any aftermarket lighting on your car?

I have been told by my local BMW dealer my car may be fitted with the 'Comfort Pack' option....If so then holding down the remote locking button on the fob for longer than 2 seconds opens the window only. Seemingly very useful if you go back to the car after leaving your mobile on the seat & you cant be bothered opening the door, you just press the button for 2 seconds & reach in!!!!! I will test it later tonight

If that's what you believe then both your windows should go down when remote button is kept pressed.
