Hope someone can help me with this - the run flat indicator comes on, so I inflate tyres to correct pressures, and read the handbook regarding reinitializing the system. It states quite clearly that pressing the button on the indicator stalk should scroll through the different options, but the Run Flat symbol does not appear in the display, only the Check Control, Clock, Date and service Info symbols will appear - no sign of the Run Flat symbol at all, and it won't go away !

Model is E92 2008 335d M Sport coupe by the way.

Are you iDrive-less? Mines activated through that.

In that case it's nothing to do with the indicator stalk (on mine anyway). I can't remember exactly the place, but it's reset through the iDrive by pressing the menu button when your on the first screen with the 4 options on it

IIRC correctly you can reset it off the stalk too - pretty sure that you need the engine running to see the menu though (or at least put the key in and press the start button without the clutch or brake engaged)

    No worries

To be honest I don't remember ever reading how to do it in the manual... I'm a bit of a fiddler so likely just stumbled across it accidentally.
