Can somoene explain why BMW have bothered to install self leveling headlights to my non Xenon Reflector headlamps and also installed a wheel adjuster?

Seems alot of work to fit self leveling to a reflector headlamp when they could have installed Xenon at the same time?

I take it E90's don't have self leveling with reflector??
The reason for the questions is I may buy 2 new "projector" type headlights with Angel eyes but as i have self leveling i take it this will not work with aftermarket headlights?

It may be self levelling rear suspension and not self levelling lights.

As far as I know all BMW headlights have levelling motors.

The lights def move up and down once when you turn them on, just like my old A4 Xenons did and a previous car i had factory fit xenons, i was under the impression Xenon equipped cars do not come with a wheel to adjust the lights manually?

The lights will move up and down when you first turn on the ignition as this sets the level set by the wheel on the dash.
