I'm having trouble with the audio in my car, which I think might be either the bluetooth or the headunit, which I have posted in the audio forum here: http://www.bimmerforums.co.uk/forum/...-audio-t94158/

To inspect the headunit, I took took both the climate and heated seats controls out of the dashboard, un-clipping the wiring for the climate controls in the process. When I re-attached the units, both the heated seats and audio controls are dead.

The ignition was off, so I don't think I have fused them. I have also carefully checked the connections twice and they appear fine. I have checked all the fuses (they both share one, it's 29 or 31 I think) and their other fuses and they seem fine.

The units are linked by a wire, which I do not think I have damaged, but it may be that is the culprit.

Or is there some other technical thing you need to do when reconnecting these items?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

    Sam.

The climate and heated seats part of this post is now solved; thanks for all those who viewed.

I just went out to move the car and they both came on - it must have taken a while for them to 'register' or something.

However the audio / bluetooth issue remains.
