Having spent the weekend installing the OEM bluetooth retrofit harness, microphone, receiver etc, I am now looking for a used MULF module to complete the hardware install. I'm keeping an eye on ebay as well and have just missed out on the one I was going to buy tonight.

Just wondering if anyone has one available for a good price? Can pick them up on ebay for between £55 and £130 usually with a few priced a bit dearer (like the ones on there just now). Obviously I want to spend as little as possible.

Any offers would be great. Please post part number if replying and remember it's the MULF for the MOST bus, not the older ULF, I'm looking for.

    Cheers

Never mind. Got one for £80 off ebay. Just need to get this coded now. Local BMW dealer has quoted £56.00 + VAT. Booked and fingers crossed

Well my experience today at Harry Fairbairn BMW was unpleasant. Picked the car up at 3:20 after being advised the coding had been completed and was ready for collection. I paid for it got into my car, switched on the ignition and hit the menu button on the radio, full of anticipation, only to find... nothing. No bluetooth option there.

Went back in to the service department to be met with a confused receptionist. Only after quizzing the resident coding tech did it transpire the coding had completed with an error. As far as the tech was concerned he wasn't sure why it didn't activate the functionality and wasn't that interested in finding out why. I certainly got the impression that he hadn't at any point called BMW for advice.

This is the same guy who removed my radio and then accused me of not having any bluetooth equipment in the car by telephone. I had to explain to him that it was the real deal retrofit and not the cheaper aftermarket one he was used to seeing. It's fairly obvious the guy had never done one of these before and didn't have a clue how to carry out the coding properly. The error was relating to a possibly faulty connection to the bluetooth antenna but he didn't bother to check this out.

Not a happy Bimmer owner right now!
