    Hi-

I've been trying to solve two errors relating to Aux Heating:

"32 IHKA Auxilary Heater" and "03 STH Circulating pump"

So I coded the Aux Heating option on my X5 and thought the circulating pump was dead (as per the diagnostic) as the webasto is firing up for a couple of minutes but then shutting off again.

The recirculating pump is doing nothing at this moment so I thought it just needed a new pump.

I pulled out the aux pump and put 12V to it and sure enough it fires up just perfectly.

    Dammit !

Put a new pump in regardless and pressed "Heat On" via the MID display.

The webasto kicks in, runs for about 5 minutes and then shuts off. No activity from the climate control in the cab.

I had a quick look at all the connections I can see. There is a blue and a brown wire going to the pump.

The blue goes up and joins a line coming from the webasto and the brown goes off into the loom someplace making tracing it next to impossible !

The way I figure it, its one of the following:

My battery is not giving enough juice. Although I could rule this out if I knew whether or not the Aux pump kicks in alongside the webasto, or a few minutes after.

    or

There is a fault in the wiring.

I was getting "32 IHKA Auxilary Heater" and "03 STH Circulating pump" errors prior to activating the Aux heating option, so I don't think its something I did when coding the Aux Heating.

If I did something wrong during the coding surely I wouldn't get the options for "heat/vent via the MID ?

    Frustrated :(

    Anyone any ideas?

    Thanks in advance
