Can anyone offer me advice after fitting a second hand Radio Head.
Unfortunately the unit I fitted seems seems to have been out of a car with Sat Nav , and my car does not have Sat Nav.
So when I start the car , firstly I get the message - HEAD UNIT not coded correctly.

Then I just hit the control button and the message says - Please insert Navigation DVD.
When I click MENU , it goes to the HOME screen. Radio/ Player/ Computer works fine then, but it is
just very annoying every time I start the car.
    Can it be solved ?????

You need to code the new head unit in using NCS Expert (BMW coding software) and then fit a combined CD/DVD console so it can access the SatNav DVD.

I am amased it works at all!
