Hello guys, been a lurker for a while now and its amazing forum!!

Hope you guys can help me with a problem i am having with my first BM (and probably the last if this problem isnít fixed...)

The car drives fine. but i get an error appearing from time to time...It shows up with a "central electronic failure" message on the Nav screen and a Red car symbol with 2 lines under it on the dash. The error then disappears after around 5 secs.

There are no problems with the driving of the car.

This would happen in ~1/5 times i drove the car..

It has been taken in several times but they couldnít identify the problem.

Last week it got Really bad and the error wouldnít go away. so i recorded the drive to the dealer (safely strapped camera to wheel ofc!) and showed them the errors.

Long story short they identified some voltage problem.. said they fixed it but not 2 days later i have the same error come up again....

I have had the car ~6 months got it second hand and didnít have probs with it for first month. Then the message started to appear sparingly..

I would like to know where to go from here.. i am planning on taking the car in again 2moro and seeing what they say..

What do you guys recommend? has any1 here experienced similar problems? what happens if they cannot resolve this issue?

Thank you in advance for help

Ask them to investigate the ZKE module. That controls the body electrics

This is unacceptable! It developed the problem again last week. They had it for a week. Told me it was 100% 4 hours ago when I picked it up. Havenít drove it for more than 1hr and the error is back!!! Does anyone know a complaints procedure for them? I am now without a car for the weekend and have to take it back in on Mon!!

    Any advice?

You could also try another dealer if your are not getting anywhere with your current one.
