    Hi,

Hoping someone can shed some light on this as I have spent the afternoon puzzled in the sunshine

I removed the heater blower fan from the passenger footwell to apply a little grease as I had the squeaking at low rpm's. All went well I removed the glove box etc no problems. I also disconnected the AC/Climate controls as well because while I had some trim removed I decided to put in a Parrot kit I should say the Parrot kit is not connected i simply laid in the mic and control cable while the trim was off and tucked it behind the AC unit in preparation of finishing the job next week.

Anyway I put it all back together and all though the AC/CLimate panel light work and the Fan works I have not real air flow from the front vents. The only vent with air flow is the one under the arm rest feeding the back seat. I double checked everything I have done and can see nothing wrong. I did disconnect the controls again and now I have warm air coming from the vents even when the aircon is on but still no air flow from the fan just a very low volume of air passing the vents. The under arm rest vent has also ceased to have a high flow of air now.

I think I must have upset a sensor and have read a thread that transport mode can kick in if the battery gets low and does weird things to your AC controls. I did have the radio on for several hours while working on the car.

Does anyone have any ideas or am I looking at a trip the Dealer?

    Thanks

Old thread but in case this is useful for anyone searching in the future.

The heater controls are coded to the car. Having disconnected them for some hours they became uncoded in some way. My local Indy recoded to the car and it was fine after that. He told me, not sue if it is true, that they can only he coded a number of times therefore in the future not to discount the control unit unless you really have to.
