Does it make any attempt to lock? Do the locks close then reopen? Is there any noise to indicate it is trying?

Do u have keyless access? If so then batteries in fob could be dead. They are not the normal rechargeable ones

Do any the door sensors say a door is open, off the top of my head the car won't lock if it thinks a door is open. Worth a check

Sounds like CAS module problem. Have some diagnostic carried out and it could be as simple as having the CAS reprogrammed.
