    Hi everyone first post,
Bought an x3 2.0d last week and just noticed that the rear washer doesn't work, the wife has been driving it and there is no chance that she would have noticed it
I had a look under the bonnet and put a meter on the pump terminals front washers work, rear pump doesn't show any volts at the terminals. I swapped the terminals over thinking if i put the front jets on there should be water on at the back window but neither pumps worked.
Anybody any ideas i have checked fuses 15, 45, 49, 52, 59 and all seem ok

Do you get pump noise when operating?
If not hen it's the pump.

Have stripped an x3 to fix a problem like this before, the pump worked but the pipe has a connector under the drivers seat, under the carpet, this had blown off and had filled the car with water.

Check the carpet to see if it's damp.
Also had another one where the hose had blown off right at the back under the boot spoiler where the washer jet comes out, same again, hose had blown apart at the clip.

Just a few ideas to check

No thats what i was trying to say the rear pump doesn't pump and the terminals at the pump show no volts when tested with a voltmeter. When i changed the terminals of the two pumps over, because the front one does work, neither pump operated when the front or rear washer was activated.
