hi iv got a 2005 X5 diesel its the sport model the problem is that this morning the car wouldnt start so i gave the battery a wee boost and that got it started. iv taken it to get the battery checked and it seems to be fine any suggestions on what could be draining the battery

Hi make sure ur in a quiet place close all the doors set the blower to blow in your face and turn the ignition off. put your cheek by the heater vent and listen to see if you can feel or hear the fan running slowly, its a comon fault of the final stage resistor or hedgehog as its better known to play up and drain the battery overnight as the fans constantly running.
