    What is going on with my high beam! came home last night and the high beam was focussed about 50foot down the road..

    I have adjusted from inside the car and there on max

    I have checked the bulbs are in correctly they are

    I cannot see any adjustment for the high lights other than when driving aboard.....

    I have heard a long time ago someones else saying they are shit but surly BMW ant trying to kill me.....

    Please help as all my driving roads home are back roads?????

    I would check bulbs seated correctly and correct ones.

    If so I would wait till dark and find a convenient vertical wall on flat ground park about 3 metres away and cover one light cluster then the other and compare heights to see if one or both have the symptoms.

    I would also ask if any modifications or work of any kind has been done prior to this as usually is evrything is working the last change prior to the symptom is what caused it.......

    Hi there, it may be your headlight vertical aim controllers that are faulty. I had to replace one of mine and the other one was prone to sticking sometimes. You can usually see the adjustment when you turn on your headlights at night.

    just going to say that, as above,

    point your car at a wall, garage etc in the dark turn the engine on and they go through a cycle, where they go from the bottom to the top and then back to where they are ment to be,
