    Hi all,

On my car, when you slip it into reverse it is supposed to angle the wing mirrors down on the left hand side of the car to aid reversing, mine does not. It works perfectly (up down left right) and has no issues that i can see visually.

Does anyone know if this is a thing that can be switched on via OBD2 or do i have some sequence to do in the car to activate it?

You tried this with the mirror adjustment switch in the driver's side position?

If the gm has recognised theres a fault with a mirror poteniometer on that mirror then it wont execute that function, you need seat mirror memory also if memory serves me right for this to work, does your car have electric seats?

    Hi mate
Not sure about your E46 but on my E38 7 series if you leave the little slide switch that selects driver's side or passengers side mirror in the driver's position you will find that the passenger's mirror will dip - it will not do this if it is in the passenger mirror position.

    Hope this helps

    Regards

    Paul
