HI here's a quick question - when using an independent specialist for a service would you expect them to notice the battery being utilised is way too small for the car? The one I had was more suitable for powering a vauxhall Corsa not this great beast - specialist missed it but guy at Halfords picked it up when I was getting air-con recharge?

Needed to get new battery fitted as the cheap weak one was shoved in was too small. I reckon dealer did it to save himslef a few bob and shift the car off his forecourt - he denies all knowledge but the battery is relatively new and anyways he had a duty of care to make sure it was fit for purpose - but regardless of that my worry is that the specialist should have spotted it - what do you think?

Service he carried out was mainly fluid and brake pads, but would diagnostic equipment not show up small battery??
