2005 120d e87 DSC/DTC warning lamp

started my 120d at work tonight and the DTC/DSC warning lamp was showing but was yellow not red. The lamp is a triangle with exclamation mark inside the triangle and also an exclamation mark on the righthand side. This lasted for a few secs and then the brake warning came on. These went off after a bit on the main display but then left the smaller warning lamps lit on the larger dispaly. I am not sure if there is a fault as the car seems to be driving fine.
I am after advice as to how I can tell if its a faulty/bogus warning and if so how I can get rid of it

First thing to do is to get the codes read on the car to see what the fault/s are. It could be down to a faulty wheel speed sensor or ABS module...the codes will confirm .

I have used the on-board display and managed to identify two codes but not sure if these are the codes you mean. the codes are CC ID 24 and CC ID 35

Code 24 is DSC failure, Drive with care message. There is a problem reported by the DSC.

Code 35 is DSC failure also.

You will need to get the faults codes read at a good BMW specialists or the main dealers
