    Hi Guys

A couple of times now I have had to get a boost to start the engine. This morning I cleaned my car (doors open etc).. took about an hour or so. Went to start and nothing....

Had the AA out and they boosted and started ok, they did a battery test and printouts stated battery fine and re-charging ok.

When we switched engine off, closed doors and locked it, he left his meter on to see what the drain was.. It started off at about 8 and went down (albeit slowly) to about 0.9 which he says is about 3 times what it should be.

What is the 'at rest' typically for a tourer? How would I go about trying to work out what this is? He said after a 10 mins the battery was back up to full charge (thought it took longer than that)

Does the light depicting what gear the autobox is in go off? or meant to stay on all the time?

    Any help appreciated.

    Cheers

    Tezza
