    i have 10 leds out in my o/s back light. can this be fixed? how has this happend? anyone had this problem? thanks!

    Which are out, indicator or brake/tail? Have you checked connectors, these type of lights should last the life of car.

    its the brake/ tailight. how could i check it out? i thought that led's lasted a life time aswell!!

    I can tell you that these units are ultrasonically welded and are a right bar steward to get inside, could be some slight corrosion from condensation or a dry joint?
    Are only some of the red ones coming on then?
    You best bet is probably replace.
    Seen 'em new on eBay a while ago for 129
    Make sure you get a BMW OEM one as they're far superior to any copies.

    yeah some of the red ones come on. was trying to avoid buying new one but if thats the only was i'll nhave to.

    There's an OS/Drivers side genuine @ £99 (used) on the bay at mo or £129 for new one.
    I remember when these were £4-£500 a pair!!
