Hi – turned my 2004 E46 318CI m sport this morning and was hit with three warning lights!

    1. The DSC (Dynamic Stability Control) light? (amber)

    2. The hand brake light? (amber)

    3. And the run flat light? (amber)

I plugged in a fault reader but no errors are showing with the car?

I don’t have run flats on the car. I’m thinking its one of the sensors either the off side front or near side rear? But not sure.

Anyone had this problem? Is this likely to be one of the wheels sensors? Any ideas of cost and how easy it is to replace the sensor?

    Any help would be appreciated!

Had that battery replaced about less than 8 months ago with a Bosch one so pretty sure the battery is ok.
Got the car booked in for next tues with an indie, earliest they could do! Said it sounds like a the speedo sensor?

Had this on my E46 didn't have the run flat indicator (not fitted) it was a rear ABS sensor causing the problem, you can check them using an electrical multimeter they should read (I think) 0.7 to 1.0 ohms resitance but the faulty one will be different to the others. Just unplug the sensor from the loom (located near the wheel arch) and test across the two terminals in the sensor plug. If the sensor is not siezed in the hub it's only one bolt to undo and then unclip the wires. Non OEM part about £35.
