    Sounds silly but gettin the car on saturday and waht to order a kit if not, car is a 2005 facelift m sport.

    Hi Joe....not standard equipment on the car. It is an aftermarket accessory.
    2013, Porsche 911 Carrera 4S, PDK, Sports Exhaust, Chrono, etc, etc

    As Mark said, angels were never factory produced for E46 models. In your case, the facelift models have sealed lamps, so you will need to soften the seals by heat gun or oven baking, so that you can seperate the glass from the housing ...

    next question! mine has the projector headlamps so i want to install a xenon look bulb with a good blue effect that will make it look as good as an OEM xenon unit. Presume i will need a h7 bulb?

    H7R bulbs and it will look bluer than OEM if you go for the recommended 6000K value.

    what is the difference between H7 and H7R? and what should i be looking to buy?

    H7R only has half the light in the top half of the bulb, so it hits the reflector and emits light downwards. H7 is 360 degrees full light. You can fit the H7 ones as well, but for sake or beam scatter, I would opt for H7R . As for buying, look out for aftermarket kits that have H7R bulbs.
