    Hi,

As I have just upgraded my rear light housings to some nice smoked LCI style housings with the integrated LED indicators, I would like to complete the conversion by using LED bulbs for the remaining bulbs rather than filament.

The bulbs I currently have are red P21W.
I have a feeling that if I just replace these bulbs with standard SMD bulbs, the CANBUS will return error notifications of bulb failures.

Does anyone have any experience on how to avoid this (without recoding)?
I know that a modification to the wiring loom is possible with in-line resistors, but if anyone has any specific advice then I would love to hear it.

    Thanks

Think I may be answering my own question here, but I think all I need is some standard P21W LED bulbs and a 50W (6ohm) resistor kit:

For what it costs, I am going to give it a go and see how I get on.
I will also be looking at upgrading the eyebrow LED's at some point too, so if anyone has any info on the mod, please do let me know!!

    Hi

Did you fit the resistors in serial or did you connect to both positive and negative. I am about to fit some resistors and want to make sure I connect them properly. Your add suggests the resistor needs to be on + and -, someone else told me just connect to +. Does anyone know the answer
