    Hi folks,

My car currently has the front bumper as shown below. I really like this bumper apart from the two blanked front fog light holes. Can I fit fog lights to these holes. Is the wiring loom in place ? or could I put a seperate switch somewhere hidden in the dash. I dont even know if the blanks can be removed to fit actual lights. I would apprecite any help or advice if someone else has done this.

Would I have to buy the lights from the dealers or where could I buy them cheaper.

Thanks as usual for any help

    Liam

I don't think the wiring is existing i'm afraid, another member with an ES e46 compact doesn't have the wiring so i don't think yours will!

If you have the switch on the dash for front fogs you will have all the wiring in place but if you only have the switch for rears you will have to add the wires and a switch yourself.

Would that be me by any chance?

Well i havent had a proper good look but i think there is a plug in the loom somewhere near the headlights...

I only looked behind the bumper when i had it off...

There is a fog light retrofit kit available from bmw which includes:

    The fogs and mounting bits.
    Fuse and relay.
The loom (which assume will just plug into an existing plug somewhere)
New lighting control box thing so that it has front and rear fog button on it.
    Installation instructions.
