Hi i have just had my auto gearbox repaired and since getting the car back it keeps dropping into limp mode and wierd things happen to the dash 1. the rev counter and speedo stop working 2. the abs light comes on 3. oil temp gauge fluctuates between min and max 4. range sensor signal on dashboard stops working. I took it to a auto electrician who code read it 5 times and got different codes each time 1st time it gave (141) activation, electric fan (220) can timout, electronic transmission management, EGS/AGS (222) can timeout, instrument cluster (120) signal, vehicle speed. The second time it gave the (220) code again. The third time it gave (096) batt.+supply,term87. (128) monitoring, can bus (129) can timeout DME (083) ECU internal fault 4(FET) (034) oil sump temp sensor. The fourth time the (128) code again. And finally the fifth time (80) pwer supply, (81) fault lamp. In the end the auto electrician was at a loss, ps don't think he was much good so I won't advertise his business on this site, now i am at ao ttal loss as what i should be looking for, any ideas ? thanks

Sounds obvious but I assume the electrical plug connections at the gearbox are secure/clean?

Has the alternator charge rate been checked?

And the earth/ground cables been attached?
