Coming back to this old topic.

Is this solved and what was the problem?

I'm having exactly the same problem.
Only difference is, maybe after 10 minutes of driving, display starts working normally and works until I shutdown the power.

I have used a car about 2 years now without this kind of a problems.
I changed a battery 3 moths ago (similar and original).
I have original sat DVD since summer 2009. I tried without DVD, with DVD, without CD, with CD etc...

What happened is that I (and a car) moved from Portugal to Finland several months ago. Maybe it didn't like climate change too much...

    Hopefully you guys can help.

    Thanks!
