Folks, my right front bulb on my M3 is playing up.
Sometimes it fires up but other times the blown headlight bulb shows on the dash and I have to turn the lights on and off a couple of times to get it to fire up. It also, sometimes, looks a bit whiter than the left hand bulb.
As this is the first car I've had with HIDs, is this how they fail?
To me the bulb should usually just blow. Seeing as I can get it to come on (eventually!) is there something else I'm missing? One of my mates E46 M3 is showing exactly the same symptoms. I'm hoping this is a common problem with a simple solution!
I've tried switching the bulbs over but as it's an intermittent fault, it hasn't really enlightened me!
How do HID bulbs look when they are blown? Because when I remove the bulb, it looks fine.
Any help or words of wisdom would be appreciated!
