All, I need help with this asap...
Yesterday I was lowering the roof with my key as I successfully programmed various options using ncs expert the day before. The roof became stuck half way and was not functional from the buttons inside the cab or remote.

Having manually folded the roof down, I drove off at which point the cruise control and seat belt lights came on followed by the hazard lights and brake lights.

The issues I'm now having are:
Brake light is permanently on whilst in position 2 or 3(running)
    Cruise control light on
    Seat belt light on
    PDC doesn't work
    Heated seats/DSC/roof buttons doesn't work
    OBC stalk doesn't work
    Steering wheel controls doesnt work

Firstly, I have checked fuses and all seem fine so I was thinking maybe low battery voltage so I used a mates battery to no avail. Has anyone got any ideas?

    Anyone?

Battery voltage is c.12v pre start up and c.14 once running. The fuses seem fine but the brake lights are on permanently now too. I think the issue is some sort of KBUS corruption whilst the battery had a low voltage? Im taking out a bluetooth module, then i'll take out the CD changer and see if that helps.

I know a faulty ignition switch can cause various electrical gremlins all at once.

    maybe worth looking at.

Okay yoursteering wheel controls is you steering wheel guibo, the ring inside the steering wheel which is fairly cheap second hand. Your cruise control light should go off too. You stalk seems like it is not working but before spendingmoney i would get a diagnostic done. That way youre sure.

PDC is a parking sensor or more that nees replacing, check this by turning ignition on and putting into reverse and you will hear the sensor tick when you listen to them, the ones that dont do not work.

Brake light on is most likely your brake light switch underneath your brake pedal.
But it is odd that everything has stopped working altogether.

    EDIT
Just re read your post properly lol. It seems like you have coded it incorrectly causing all these problems to occur. Your need to check it again. did you copy the old file before re programming? flash it back and see

Thanks for the input so far guys, really appreciate some help :-)

As for the coding, the original file is back on but the problems are still present which is a pain..
Have removed Bluetooth parrot kit and cd changer to try and rule out k bus issue.
Also, inpa does my connect to the troubled modules i.e. cruise control
    Any ideas?

Might be worth checking your earth connections on any aftermarket stereos/equipment
You may have fitted. Caused me many electrical issues until I spotted a loose earth connection.

Update: I have installed a new battery but problems still persist. Looks like a trip to the dealers in on the cards. Does anyone think that the wiring look that runs on the side of the roof could potentially have broken wires?

So BMW have told me after a diagnostics that I have to replace the ignition switch. Having replaced this, It hasn't solved the problem. Apparantly there is only 2v going into the fuse box traced back to the ignition switch. No idea what else it could be and don't want to spend £hundreds of pounds.

There must be a burnt wire somewhere or a problem with the fuse box? Any ideas anyone?

If you're loosing 10V down a cable somewhere, its got to be well and truly fubarred - are the wires broken at the connector ?

It seems strange to me that it was working fine before the coding and all the problems were after, I would look at what you did again.
