My problems all started when I thought I had gearbox trouble here 2003 E46 320d lost second gear.
The 'solution' to my trouble in the end was that some wires shorting out. This messed up the ECU so after it was reprogrammed everything was fine, or so I thought.
Today I came to start my car, the starter motor was turning the engine over but it wouldn't start.
I think that there is no fuel getting to the cylinders. While in the garage sorting the last issue, they checked the injectors and the fuel pumps and said that they were fine.
I had only had the car back from the garage for 2 days and done 30-40 miles, and there was no warning as it started perfectly in that time.
Could it be an imobiliser problem or a pressure regulating valve or sensor problem, or could it just be unrelated to the previous problems i had and the fuel pump (or its relay) has gone?
Any help would be appreciated!
