Did these a couple of weeks ago - might end up doing the whole dash and window switches etc.

Also with the PC screen in view:

Soldered them in - they are tiny surface mount LEDs - bought all the kit to do them so thinking of coverting clocks and selling them on ebay to pay for the equipment

I did this to mine about 3 years ago and then bought some more thinking I would do the odometer to match but it dosen't work, comes out a funny dark orange colour.

I noticed that the panel has an orange filter attached to it and without peeling it off and risk breaking it I've left it orange - that's why i need to experiment with a scrap unit - I'm sure it can be done as I saw a photo a while ago - can't remember where but every light and switch was blue - looked really cool.

I think the E36 are just twist fit bulbs - should be easy to do with no soldering.

They look great, I remember bringing this up with you a while ago, good to see that one of us actually got round to doing it! Iv got myself a 2003 320d m sport now so will be looking to do these as soon as i can as well. Was it a relatively easy job?
