    Hi all great thread I have this same dreaded problem, so can ask a few questions please,

    slow tech where can i get the tyco relays from or the code for them? did your auto electrician order them in for you?

    Ok, before anyone gets ripped off for these relays, can I suggest that you buy them from Digikey? The relays may be a couple of quid each, but shipping is done by courier and can cost up to £10 which is better than paying obscene amounts from individual sellers. You can use either Tyco or Omron relays.... LINK

    thanks for that post i didnt really want to buy off ebay or a non registered source, the tyco/omron relays needed can anyone shed the part no?? also is there any preference.

    I've just tried to enquire with Digikey, I gave them the following info on the relays required: Tyco V23084-C2001-A303. unfortunately the say they do not have them?
    Have you located these relays on their website Neal?

    Unfortunately guys you wont have any luck as Tyco no longer make the ones for the windows and as for the door lock ones min order 600 pieces they said i have a few but not for sale only to do repairs for uk customers

    Yes the relays were ordered by the aforementioned Colin, I just sent him the GM5 module.
    I'm in agreement with NealP here Andy, there must be somewhere in the UK that can supply these relays,
    at the moment I can only find them in the USA, which coincidently Pintalager4mee got his from!

    yes i suppose my console modding skills come in handy for the soldering and it also helps being in the trade

    Where were you when I started this thread???

    I looked all over the place for someone in the UK that had actually done the repair before!
    Ah well at least other members know now
