Hi all.. I have fitted a set of bosch factory xenons to my 320 coupe.. Now i couldnt wire up the original factory ballasts, so ive just put in a 6k hid kit, practically the same thing as the factory bulbs are 6k anyway.. Only problem now is that although the lights are bright to look at, they just dont seem to be projecting very far, and dont produce a lot of light.. Can the Projectors be adjusted in anyway to perhaps push the light further out..? Any help here greatly appreciated!

    Thanks Chris

sounds like your headlight need adjusting maybe worth taking it to a garage as they have the beam lenght adjuster to do it

You could try different xenon bulbs to see if that makes a difference.

It could be worth reading bimmer320's post in this thread too.

do u have the reflector or projector lights?
i would guess at reflector from age of bm if you havent upgraded

i have the reflector type in my e46 2002(original factory fitted).
i had to buy H7R blubs for my hid kit, so the light didnt bounce around and projected beam on the road. about £15 on ebay.
they have a thin strip along and around blub to stop the light bouncing around.

if you have the projector type lights then you shouldnt have a problem unless the light was removed then u may need to realine lights at a garage to get a beam on the road
