Well I decided to get myself some LED 501 sidelight bulbs as mine were rather pathetic, so I got some nice white ones from autobulbs direct.

Now I have the typical warning lights/ sidelights on constantly/ indicators on with sidelights symptoms and am aware that the way to cure this is to install a resistor in the same circuit as the bulb.

However, how do I know what type of resistor to use, what rating, and is it installed in series on the positive side or in parallel across the new bulb?

    Many thanks
    Mike

As above, have had to do the same with the front indicators on the skyline.

I went for these as there are a hell of alot brighter than others
