    Hi guys

Im new here and would be greatful for any help you can give me

    I own a 2003 E46 330ci convertible
I got in the car today to find that the instrument panel wasn't working ie no warning lights, no rev counter, no speedo, all things are working just not showing up on the dash also I've got no heated rear screen, no AC,and no parking assitance

I've checked all fuses which are fine

    Cheers

Try a binnacle test first off.

Hold down the mileage reset button with the ignition off, turn the ignition key to position 1, Wait for TEST to appear and then release reset button, watch as the binnacle does a self test. Gauges should go full circle and back and lights should illuminate on dash

The problem is now fixed !

im afraid I can't shed any light on how it came to be fixed other than the spare wheel well was 2" deep full of water
I dried it out and all is well along with my wallet

I didn't see anything that looked like the ECU but like you say it must have been the damp that caused the fault
now I've got to try and find out how the water is getting in the boot
anyone else had this problem ?

    cheers
