hi all, hoping someone will have an answer to the problem i am having on my 330 ci. The remote central locking has stopped working so have to open the car with the key also when doing this the central locking also sometimes fails to work so only opening the drivers door. Read alot about the gm5 module being at fault so just wondering if this is the fault or if anyone else has any other suggestions.

    cheers chris

does the central locking button in the car work? Initially it does sound like a GM unit problem.

My experience of GM5 relay intermittant failure was:

C/L would always lock the car but sometimes not unlock the car, this symptom was the same when either using the remote or the button in the car.
A diagnostic scan flagged up a ZKE error.
