    Is this legal? And is it the same installation as dipped beem?

    Want to fo this as my main beem and fog lights look orange as f*ck since doing my dipped beam! lol

    Strictly speaking HID's are not legal without either projector lenses or with washer jets and focused beam however I had xenon bulbs in my foglights ages ago and never been pulled for them but it is illegal to drive with them on for no reason-ie if there is no fog then the cops can pull you for having your fog's on

    stks rite again...very knowledgeble big guy(and always on hand too paste my name onto lists!!)..yeah havin the fogs on are a pull tho again i drive a lot with my sidelights on with my fogs on too...think this makes it look less obvious as it doesnt strike the police as being mege brite le with fogs and mainbeam lillo...i have passed the old bill many many times and havent been pulled...they seem too like my car too coz they are always putting me on awareness courses

    Problem with HID's are they take a few seconds to warm up so you wouldn't be able to flash your lights.Other than that though they would be fine and be high beam am sure you would get away with the 55w kit although you would blind other drivers if you didn't switch them off in time
